Bio

Bob Frascone

Frontman, Blues Harp, Vocals

Bob is a blues traditionalist to the core!  He started playing harmonica as a teenager growing up in Chicago listening to and studying from some of the blues greats of all time.  He credits his old-school “tongue-blocking” style mainly to harmonica great and custom harmonica maker, Joe Filisko.  Prior to moving out to Arizona, Bob fronted and played in several blues bands in Chicago.  For many years he performed in local bars, blues clubs, festivals, corporate events and private parties.  Bob has the look, style and sound that will bring you back to the post-World War II traditional blues feel.  More importantly, Bob knows how to connect with the crowd and keep the party going!

Peter O’Reilly

Lead and Rhythm Guitar

Originally from Philadelphia, Pete moved to Arizona in 1979 with his family.  He graduated from Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA in 1987 and has played in various bands since then.  Pete moved to Prescott, AZ in 2000 and ended up taking the lead guitar position with Chicago Bob and the Blues Squad in 2020.  Pete brings a unique style of his own to his lead playing, creating awesome solos that really wow the crowd.

Gordon Jennings

Bass Guitar

A solid seasoned bass player who played in many rock, country and blues bands throughout California.  He has had the good fortune to be in bands that opened up for internationally-known blues artists such as “Sista Monica” Parker (RIP), Andrew “Jr. Boy” Jones, James Armstrong and twice for The Delgado Brothers.  Gordon enjoys his role of holding down the bottom end, staying true to the old-school bass style and being a part of the rhythm section that keeps the “blues engine”running for Chicago Bob and the Blues Squad.

Steve Atwood

Drummer

Hailing from the Central Coast of California, my journey into the world of music began in the mid-1960’s, when I picked up my first pair of drumsticks and discovered the thrill of rhythm. My passion for percussion led me to study music at the college level where I deepened my understanding of various musical styles.

My performances have taken me to some incredible venues and events, most notably the renowned Monterey Blues Festival, Blues in the Park in California and the world famous Viper Room in Los Angeles.

I believe that music is not just a form of entertainment; it is a universal language that can heal, inspire, and bring people together.

Kristin Jennings "Little Ms. Kris"

Guest Vocalist, Video, Website , and Band Promo

Born in Philadelphia, Kristin started singing at a young age along with her sisters while listening to her parents’ music of Peggy Lee, Lena Horne, Frank Sinatra and South Pacific.  She continued singing in junior and senior high choirs, choruses and ensembles.  She moved to California in her 20s and studied vocals with Dario Vanni (Mr. Music Studios).  Kristin has performed in Phantom of the Opera, and many other musical productions. She learned guitar in the early 90’s; and has focused on blues singers such as Koko Taylor, Bonnie Raitt, Susan Tedeschi, Big Mama Thornton, and others.
